The adventure-loving Crown Prince of Dubai has done it again. What’s that, you ask? Climbed the world’s tallest building, that is.
Sheikh Hamdan, who is the son of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, posted a video of his climb to the top of the Burj Khalifa on his Instagram account on Sunday.
He also posted this beautiful silhouette shot of himself at the top, with the ‘supermoon’ in the background.
A supermoon or perigee moon, happens a few times a year when our celestial neighbour is closest to us, giving the illusion of a much larger body.
Sheikh Hamdan – who is also a keen photographer – shared the image of him atop the Burj, along with the message: “With every full moon comes a new beginning and with every new beginning comes opportunities! A big thank you to all my followers. 12.7.2014 #MyDubai.”
NOT FIRST TIME
This isn’t the first time he has made the journey up the 828-metre structure. Back in November 2013, he climbed all the way to the top to celebrate Dubai’s winning Expo 2020 bid.
